Platform is a versatile, mobile outdoor stage, designed and built by a collective of creatives and artists with many years experience in the events and performance industries. Its aesthetics aim to sensitively frame the performances showcased on it.
Platform provides a covered outdoor stage with in-built solar power, placing sustainability at the heart of its design. It is ideal for use as a stage for bands, spoken word, Dj’s, live PA’s, theatre productions, hosting talks/discussions and as a live performance space.
The PV solar array mounted on the roof, onboard lithium batteries with a 5KVA pure sine-wave inverter enables Platform to provide carbon neutral 240v mains power.
About
Bespoke Design & Build
All materials used in the construction of Platform where chosen with sustainability in mind with minimal material waste through economic design.
The galvanised steel structure is clad in sustainable (FSC) marine ply with the interior cladding, flooring and roof all fabricated also using FSC ply. A bank of solar panels is mounted on the roof.
The interior of the stage has been acoustically treated to achieve the best possible audio experience for both performers and audience.
The trailer has good ground clearance, allowing it maximum flexibility on site.
Maneuverability
Platform is ideal for venues requiring a stage in unusual places and has the ground clearance to be maneuvered into awkward positions with a 4X4. Our crew have many years experience of challenging ground conditions.
Accessibility
Access onto the stage is through a 950mm wide door to stage right via steps or a removable shallow rise access ramp making load in & out easy and allowing good accessibility for performers and crew including wheelchair users with support.
Solar Power
Platform stage has a PV solar array mounted on the roof and a bank of rack mounted lithium batteries with a 5KVA pure sine-wave inverter to provide 240v mains power which can be supplemented by an additional solar power system when necessary.
Power requirement for an event will vary depending on the PA and lighting required. The on-board solar system alongside the additional system will meet most requirements up to 1000 people
Options
Platform can be hired as a stand-alone stage or with a sound system & solar power with a technician to run the PA and manage power consumption.
Sound systems: We can supply industry standard sound system options with a sound technician delivering high quality sound designed to support the specific requirements of your event.
Lighting: We can offer a range of lighting options to achieve the visual effect you imagine for your event.
Décor: We are able to provide additional event décor including plants and bespoke designs.
Covered Space
Platform stage can be used as a stand-alone covered stage structure in any outdoor setting and can also be attached to tents and marquees to provide cover for the audience. We have working relationships with tent suppliers if this is required
